singles awareness day
happy valentine's day. or singles awareness day as they call it. the day all singles are acutely aware that they are single.
so sure, maybe there's no romantic dates or flowers or candies or what-were-you-thinking gifts, but i still reckon being single isn't neccesarily all that bad.
i mean think of all the benefits. keeping options open being one big one. and not having to answer to anyone. and being able to spend money all on yourself...
and most of all, it's also bout friendship love.
best friend: happy valentine's day to you too babe. you're special you know right? weird but special hee
and with that, i felt more love and validation than any guy has given me.

Happy V Day! Mr. Handsome as I will now refer to him as is in too close proximity for me to just shag him and nothing more. There's a few reasons. He probably won't talk to me again anyway.
Happy Singles Independence Day! Don't worry. . .I have the flowers and the romance and would much rather go home have a couple of glasses of wine and go to bed early. In other words, the grass isn't always greener just a different shade.
