the wedding

over the weekend i went for my uni friend's wedding. and it was some wedding.

i was surprised to to see my best friend's 16 year old brother there. i knew that he knew my uni friend 'coz they are in the same church but i didn't know that he was invited. later in a conversation with my best friend's brother, he said that his 20 year old guy friend thought that i was hot. and that when he found out that i was 6 years older than him, he was like 'damn!' i actually find this pretty funny 'coz somehow i always seem to get the young ones. but i'll take all the compliments i can get... even if it's from a young one.

it was nice to see some classmates who i haven't seen since we graduated. this is kinda what weddings are bout right? it's like some reunion session. it was also slightly odd to see the guy i used to go out with and his wife. they were both my uni classmates. the last time i saw 'em was when i went to his wedding. yes, i went to the wedding of a guy i used to date. definitely the strangest wedding ever. his wife is looking good. better than i've ever seen her before. he's looking better too. that must be what love does to you. apparently seeing 'em must have affected me more than i realised 'coz i wound up having some pretty weird dreams. i think it's 'coz out of all the guys i've gone out with, he's the one who treated me the best and with the most respect. we weren't ever going to be suitable for each other, but i feel like i should have treasured him a bit more when he was around. i guess hindsight is always 20/20.

after the wedding, i joined one of my close friends in uni to meet up with her boyfriend and his friends for a drink. she's been wanting to introduce me to her boyfriend's friend, a guy from arizona. he's pretty cute with lots of personality though he's shorter than me and i'm not sure if he's with the other girl who was there that night 'coz they seemed pretty close. anyhow we got along great. when i'm comfy with someone i can sometimes go into the teasing mode. which was what happened. and he laughed through it all. he seems cool. the only thing that freaked me out a lil was that he's really asian. he talks like an asian, listens to asian music, speaks the language and even told me to think of him as an asian. he's been in asia working for bout 4 years but it's still amazing how he's integrated himself in the culture. interesting.

Wow, guess the wedding stirred up a lot of emotions eh? Regarding your friends-brothers-friend (phew), you might as go for the young men – they never grow up anyway ;)

Sweety, asia is huuuge – by asia do you mean China, Japan, India, Nepal? And hey, it’s the differeces that adds the spice in a relation (and I suppose a lot of spices in the foods to)!

Cheers!
