let's have a make-believe family

when i read the very intersting post on someone's blog the other day, i left a nice, long and funny comment. since then that has sparked a few comments back and forth between him and me on his blog. this must be the closest we've come to 'talking' in recent years.

what started it all was 'coz both of us had recent gatherings with the extended family. different extended families that is. let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet haha! but apparently all extended families are bout the same when it comes to family members of marriageable age. they will ask you when you're going to have a girlfriend / boyfriend.

basically we've been trading ideas on how to shock our extended family by one day turning up with a kid so they'll be so confused as to when did the actual marriage and pregnancy take place. he 'accused' me of putting ideas into his head. i countered that he had all those ideas rolling in the first place. of 'coz not before i added more ideas to confuse everyone by changing kids with each extended family gathering.

now if we did that together. that would be even more hilarious. i like me someone who's wacky like that.

excellent! i hadn't thought about this...though my mom and i are close so she would probably sell me out or call my bluff:D

but i feel your and your blogger friend's pain.

though i'm not working so right now my family has shifted to "how's the job search going?"

i only wish they were asking about a boyfriend.
