not for lack of trying

after the whole bus stop incident with texas tall on wednesday, i fell sick for the next 2 days. so i told myself that come the following monday i was going to give him a big bright smile.

monday comes around... and i'm in the office bright and early. at the first chance i get at direct eye contact with texas tall, i give him a smile. okay so it wasn't as big and as bright as i had intended. it was more of a tiny smirk-smile. but guess what the fella does? he just continues to stare at me blankly. unbelieveable.

a lil while later i decided to attempt a friendly hey and a bit of conversation. i see him walking past me carrying an empty 1.5L bottle of mineral water. here's my chance. as i passed i kinda joked bout how that's a big bottle. lame i know. but hey it was in the morning and already he's done with a 1.5L bottle? yeah yeah i know it must have been left over from the week before but hey there's not a lot that i can talk to him bout.

guess how that went? well not that great since i don't think he said anything. he may have smiled just a lil.

so i've decided that this guy is just odd. i've tried but i'm not getting much response. he's gotta give me something here. and given that tomorrow is probably his last day in the office, i'm just not gonna bother too much. afterall it's not like i'm not already preoccupied with liking all the other boys who are unavailable to me.
