i guess this makes it kinda official?

i survived the weekend. managed to avoid trouble and maybe even came outta it with more clarity.

my party girl's birthday celebrations on friday night were fun though pretty sedate. strangely her birthday tends to be sedate. maybe it's just mine that is crazier. with her permission, i invited the alpha boy to join us for drinks (it was just us girls for dinner) where we met up with my party girl's colleagues. it was a pretty nice time. the alpha boy got to see us girls in our more natural habitat. i figured he might as well kinda know what i'm like with the girls. then again there wasn't any real crazies... the tipsy dancing and making out with random boys. i suppose we've all kinda out grown that.

the house party on saturday night got a lil crazier though. but other than just some harmless chatting, taking pics with a few guys i just met, for the most part i was just chilling with the girls.

i guess i came to some clarity bout it all. the alpha boy is reliable, caring and trustworthy. why would i want to give that up for some other guy who in all probability hasn't got stellar qualities? i'm not saying that there aren't some perfectly lovely guys out there. it's just that besides the alpha boy, i've never really met any of 'em or at least those who also care and genuinely interested in me as much. when i remind myself of that, i'm thankful and very happy to be with the alpha boy.

and so i told my mom. afterall he already told his mom. it's scary. and i'm still not used to it yet but i suppose we're kinda getting there...
