making memories

it was the last weekend before cozy hole-in-the-wall bar was to be closed for a few weeks for renovations. so the yummy mommy and i decided to head over there for old times sake. as i chatted with one of the owners of the bar on his renovation plans, i realised that cozy hole-in-the-wall bar as we knew it would be over. i looked around the bar and knew that there would be so many memories of this place that i hold dear. mostly the memories of the places where dj guy and i made out.

as i was getting ready to put all those memories behind me, it didn't occur to me that that very night, i would have made a new memory of the old bar.

the very cute dutch part-time bartender was there (though i think his days behind the bar are over) with a cute friend of his. he looked half asian. one look at him and i told the yummy mommy that i think he's cute. she being the good friend (and pretty drunk enough) went over and got us all introduced. but i kinda reverted to my shy ways and didn't really make conversation as i got a bit distracted talking to various other regulars as well as looking after the yummy mommy as she worshipped at the porcelain throne (i.e. she was puking her guts out).

but some time later i did somehow initiate a conversation with the half asian guy. i found out that he's new zealander and 4 years younger. yes, i always seem to find the younger guys...

whatever happened is kinda fuzzy. the half asian guy and i chatted a bit. but i can't quite remember what we talked bout. granted nothing was said bout what we actually did for a living. i seem to think that a lot of time was spent trying to guess each other's age.

i'm not even sure what happened first. but i know that at some point when we were seated at the bar, he kissed me. and there was another point where i was talking to another one of the owners of the bar and the half asian guy was at the other end of the bar staring at me. actually we were both staring at each other pretty intensely. to the point where the guy i was talking to joked that we wanted each other. maybe. he definitely has those smouldering eyes and that intense look that i go for.

and then at another point i found myself upstairs in the loft-like area with him and the dutch part-time bartender. i wound up sitting on the couch with him straddling my legs as he leaned over and we kissed. the dutch part-time bartender was teasing us.

i suppose the only thing i regret is that i didn't exchange contact numbers with him. in fact i kinda left in a hurry and didn't say goodbye.

and since i'm not really the type to just kiss someone without getting his number and i actually am a bit interested, i logged onto the online social utility site and did some stalking. it's amazingly easy to find out more information when you know that he's a friend of a friend of a friend and that his profile is open and filled with all kinds of pictures and stuff. i feel like i almost know him already.

but that said, looks like he was the first random 'crazy' for the year... that didn't take too long for me haha!
