which is fine i suppose...

i can say all i want bout trying to keep busy to keep my mind off it but really, who am i kidding? of 'coz i'm gonna be thinking bout it all the time. that's just the way it is. when you write an email pouring out your heart and soul, you expect a response... a timely response at that. it's perfectly normal. which is fine i suppose. well as fine as it gets when you're trying not to drive yourself crazy here.

late last night drummer boy broke the almost 4-day silence. he IMed me. i'm sure he was online all of the last 4 days but 'coz he tends to like to appear offline, unless he IMs me first, i wouldn't be able to see him.

it was nice that he made a move to IM me. but the thing is he didn't say a single word bout the email!

which is fine i suppose... i mean i guess he probably didn't quite know how to respond. we didn't chat long nor we did we chat that much (which is kinda our usual chatting of late anyhow). and we didn't mention a thing bout the email. we just kinda carried on as per usual.

i'm certainly not gonna be mentioning it. at least i don't think so just yet, if ever. i think it's up to him to respond. the ball is in his court. on my part, i'm just gonna give him some time to think bout it all. and try not to drive myself crazy with all the wondering... at the same time i gotta try and manage my own expectations 'coz honestly all this doesn't look too promising at the moment...

he has the ball, don't let him on your side of the court until he says something about it.

you are right...how do we not wait, it is inevitable! i'm glad you have stayed this sane thus far and i'm also happy to hear that he IM'ed you, although it wasnt with an answer or acknowledgement. but, i do agree with scotty...he has the ball, let him make the move. i think managing your expectations would be a great idea as well because i know there is someone out there that will treat you so much better than drummerboy!
